Dr Alexander Tsakiris is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in female and male fertility and IVF, Advanced Laparoscopic (“keyhole”) Surgery, General Gynaecology, Cosmetic Gynaecology and Obstetrics.

Dr. Tsakiris has more than 20 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology. He was trained as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the St Bartholomew and St. George’s Hospital in London, and then completed a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the  Hospital and training in infertility with the leading authority Professor Ian Craft at the LONDON FERTILITY CENTER in Harley Street.

He is an experienced and well trained surgeon with clinical interest and expertise in fertility and IVF, advanced endoscopic surgery, endometriosis and providing modern obstetric care including high risk obstetrics.
He is one of a very few gynecologist in Athens who performs the majority of operations including myomectomies (removal of fibroids) and hysterectomies via laparoscopic (“keyhole”) and single portal entry approach.
Fluent in English and Greek, Alexander currently works in leading hospitals in Athens where he spends most of his time looking after his patients. Also he has admitting rights at a London Leading Private Hospital THE PORTLAND.

Also he has developed special interest in robotic gynecological surgery where fibroids ovarian cysts and other gynecological operation are performed.

Dr. Tsakiris has spent many years in London U.K working as a consultant after gaining the highest training certification.

Lately has obtained many links with leading hospitals in Harley street London in order to update his skills and performance.
